Are you interested in developing soft skills and honing your evaluation skills?
Would you like to be more confident with impromptu speaking?
Toastmasters can help - for over 90 years people have participated in Toastmasters International clubs to improve upon communication and leadership skills. Guests are welcome to visit and learn more.
A typical meeting lasts for one hour and a Toastmaster of the Day leads the meeting. Meetings include:
- A word of the day introduced by the grammarian
- Prepared speeches from an education curriculum that is chosen by the member (tailored to your needs)
- Impromptu speaking sessions (short 1-2 minute responses to an array of topics)
- Evaluation sessions (including immediate feedback for prepared speeches, as well as feedback on the meeting)
